We participated in these videoconferences through Global Nomads Group.  They collaborated with the project called Semester at Sea, which embarked on its 100th voyage from Sept. - Dec. 2009.  Live, open dialogue videoconferences were planned with each port city along their route.  We enjoyed being apart of this unique experience.  For more information on the Semester-At-Sea program, visit:  www.semesteratsea.org

We had three videoconferences with South Africa.  Two were with students and one was with an organization called Lovelife.  We discussed xenophobia, globalization, apartheid and our cultures with our peers in South Africa.  Lovelife, an organization dedicated to HIV/AIDS prevention among young people, presented their goals to us.  For more information on Lovelife, please visit:  www.lovelife.org.za
