Here are some journal entries from some of our 2010-2011 classmates!

"Partaking in Around the World is something I can easily say has been one of my most memorable high school events. This event not only helped me gain insights on countries around the world, but provided a unique bonding experience with my peers. This program is one that gives students perspectives on what it is truly like to be a global citizen."  -Joe
"The Around the World program is a true gem of educational technology. This program brings students to each continent while staying in one room. I most definitely hope the program continues and even expands to more student exchange opportunities among countries involved"  -Mousa
"The Egyptian conference was the best one in my opinion. We had an intense dialogue with the Egyptians students on politics and we also had a great cultural dialogue. We spoke about the prospects of young people in both Egyptian and American society. Their fervor for knowledge was equally inspiring and motivating. What I took away most, though, is that Nile University, one of the best schools in Egypt, does have a study abroad program, which one day I would love the chance to make use of."  -Mariah
"Around the World was one of the best experiences of my high school career. It brought everything we have worked towards to a neat close. I learned much during our ATW about other countries' cultures and views on U.S. politics. I will definitely remember ATW my entire life because it means so much to the CITVC class and everything it strives for."  -Tasnim

"My favorite conference was the tour of Jerusalem. It was really cool to see the Western Wall and the docents who placed our intentions into the wall. It was almost as if we were there! To learn about history was really interesting and I enjoyed the whole program so much."  -Caitlyn

"Overall, all of the conferences were amazing and I believe our class formed strong bonds with our fellow global citizens that will last a lifetime."  -Zohra
