 “This was my second year participating in Around the World and this year exceeded last year’s standards on every level.  The conferences were more engaging and personal." -John
“My favorite country that we videoconferenced with was Israel.  I felt very touched that they put our intentions in the Western Wall (The Kotel).  It was such a sentimental thing to do and I know it meant so much to our entire class.” -Christine
“Around the World was amazing!  I was very excited for it.  I think it helped our class become a lot closer and we put into action all the skills we learned this year!” -Gianna
"The best conference in my opinion was with Sri Lanka.  They prepared a PowerPoint for us about their country (which is beautiful) and they sang us a song.” -Adam

“For me, Around the World was very important because it relates to my future major in International Relations.  My favorite conference was with the GEM speaker, James, from Sudan.  His story of surviving and overcoming personal tragedy in Sudan was inspirational to everyone who heard it.” -Erika

“My favorite conference was with Northern Ireland.  Since we already knew them personally from several prior videoconferences, it was easy to jump right into conversations.  Tara Ann did an Irish dance for us and Bríd showed us a movie she made.  Both were amazing!" -Crystal
